Teeth Whitening

What are the details of teeth whitening?

Getting your dream smile may be within your reach! Many of our patients are able to get the look they’re looking for from their teeth through our simple tooth “bleaching” treatment.

It’s price-effective, completely safe, and quicker than ever! If you would like your teeth to be whitened, let us know during any normal dental appointment. If you feel like you only need part of your mouth whitened, we can do the top or bottom depending on how much needs to be whitened. We can customize your whitening treatment to fit your smile perfectly.

A few days after your appointment, your bleaching treatment splints will be ready to take with you. After only a few hours of wear daily, the specific bleaching process removes the stains from the surface of your enamel without damaging your teeth. After the surface level stains have been removed, minimal aftercare is required to upkeep the brightness of you smile. When you return back to our office, we can show you before and after pictures in order to show you how your smile has improved.

Tooth discoloration and stains can be easily removed using dental bleaching treatment. Staining, aging, and chemical damage can be caused through day-to-day activities, such as age, coffee, and other factors. Bleaching processes allow us to safely remove the stains left behind by life and return teeth to their original brilliance. In some cases, crowns or veneers may be needed to fix more intense staining. However, since our bleaching treatments are incredibly easy to do at home and cost effective, they are an easy way to fix simple discoloration.

Key Benefits of Teeth Whitening

  • Corrects surface stains and discoloration
  • Works for many different age ranges
  • It is a long-lasting solution to dull, discolored teeth

The bleaching process requires a mouthguard, which is formed from an impression of your teeth. The treatment is a nightly process, which lasts for around four hours a day for about two weeks. After the treatment is finished, your teeth should be much brighter. The change is, in some cases, miraculous, and can brighten up your entire face with the change.  Bleaching technology allows us to change the surface of teeth without compromising their integrity. For more intense stains, however, veneers or crowns may offer a more appropriate change in color.

Considerations for Teeth Whitening

While you can purchase over the counter teeth whitening treatments at drugstores, those may cause damage to teeth and gums. It is more advisable to get an official treatment from your dental office, which has been custom-made for your specialized needs.
