Pola In-Office Whitening

Pola is the perfect answer for patients who are looking for whiter teeth in one treatment or overnight. Our dental team offers Pola In-Office Whitening System that can whiten your teeth up to 8 shades* in one hour. The treatment takes about an hour, and can be completed while in our office. It is the perfect treatment for anyone looking to see results immediately. The Pola Take-Home Whitening System, which works slightly slower than our in-office treatment, is made out of a specialized gel that can whiten teeth by up to 6 shades after only three nights*. Pola teeth whitening is perfect for the busy person looking for instant results. If you started our treatment on Wednesday, by the next Monday you’ll have a completely different smile.

Strips and paint on treatments are slow compared to the efficiency of Pola. Pola gives you whiter teeth in only a portion of the time.

What is Pola tooth whitening?

Pola lightens and removes stains from the enamel and dentin of the mouth using a gel bleaching process.

What can cause tooth discoloration?

Tooth discoloration can come from a variety of sources, such of aging, coffee, tea, or smoking. Discoloration can also occur during the growth process of the teeth due to antibiotics or excessive fluoride at a young age.

Who can benefit from tooth whitening?

Teeth whitening is almost universal in terms of effectiveness. However, there are some types of treatment that work less effectively than others. That’s why it’s important to get a dental exam from your dentist to find out the right treatment plan for you in order to get your desired results.

Is tooth whitening becoming more popular?

Of course! A whiter, brighter smile can make a huge improvement on the aesthetics of your teeth. Pola’s whitening system makes getting white teeth easier than ever before.

Is tooth whitening safe?

Tooth whitening under the supervision of a dentist has been clinically proven to be safe. Dental whitening is the safest cosmetic option when it comes to whitening teeth, and is one of the safest dental procedures out here. However, Pola is not meant for children under the age of 13, or women who are pregnant.

Do the results last a long time?

With careful post-whitening care, your teeth will look better than ever. Flossing your teeth on a regular basis can ensure brighter teeth, as well as using Pola Whitening Toothpaste in the morning and at night. Touch ups can be applied with Pola gel, as they are specifically formulated to keep your teeth looking their absolute best. All these products can be acquired through our dental office.

Is there any difference between over-the-counter tooth whiteners and Pola

Over the counter whiteners do not work as well as the Pola system. Your dentist should be consulted before starting any whitening treatment. Over the counter whitening treatments, whether gels, strips, or toothpastes, can take months to whiten your teeth slightly. Pola can whiten your teeth up to 8 times more than their original shade* in one weekend.

How does the Pola In-Office System work?

Hydrogen Peroxide is the active ingredient in Pola. Light activates the whitening treatment itself, causing the Hydrogen Peroxide to break down. This releases oxygen into the enamel of the tooth, removing and coloration on the surface. However, the structure of the tooth itself is not damaged at all. The Pola light activates the Hydrogen Peroxide so it can better penetrate the surface of the tooth.

Is the Pola In-office procedure painful?

Pola is a completely safe, non-painful procedure that only requires the patient to keep the treatment on their teeth. It takes only an hour to complete, and many patients watch TV or take a short nap during the process itself.

Are there any side effects?

Temporary tooth sensitivity is the main side effect during the treatment, but these go away after a couple days.

How long is the procedure?

The process itself is only about an hour or so long. There is a preparation procedure before the actual bleaching solution is applied, followed by an hour worth of treatment. Fluoride is applied after the procedure, followed by tooth cleaning per your dentist’s recommendation.

How long does Take-Home Whitening take?

The home gel takes a bit longer to work than the in-office treatment. Most applications are between four to eight hours, depending on the recommendation of your dentist. Three nights use can result in up to 6* shades of difference from your original tooth color, and the results are stunning. Our dental team will advise you on the best treatment for you unique case.

How is the Take-Home System different from the Pola In-Office System?

The take home kit is meant to be used at home and takes slightly longer than our in-office treatment, which requires an office visit to complete.
